My Zoo Experience

Zoo Experience

The Auckland Zoo was really exciting and gigantic. The whole school went to the Auckland Zoo on the 18th of November. We were so grateful to have an opportunity to go on this exciting Zoo trip. The bus we went on was kinda big.

Here is a photo of my class in the bus.

When we arrived at the Zoo we got into a group. In my group was Ana, Patrick,Mahana and Ila and we started looking at the animals. The first animal we saw was a Meerkats. They were so adorable and small. After seeing the Meerkats we saw a Giraffe, Zebras, and an ostriches. We saw a Rhinoceros, Waterbuck and a Nyala then we went to see the flamingo. Before we saw the flamingo we saw an Elephant named Burma.

My friend Ana and I wrote lots of notes on animal facts and we also took lots of photos. We went to see the seal and it was swimming in circles on his back then we saw the penguins. We stopped at Tuatara and we saw 2 wooden boxes inside that were a fake snake and a fake lizard. We scarcely touch the snake and the lizard. We feel jumpy. Ana and I got Patrick to put his hand in and screamed like a girl two times. It was so funny. We told him they were fake.

We started running to my dad and the best part was when my dad bought us an ice cream it was so yummy. We got back in the bus and went back to the school.

I wish we could go on the Zoo Trip again with the whole school.

My Speech September 2020

 16.9.2020

Are Heroes Ordinary people?

Kia ora everyone

My speech is about “Are Heroes Ordinary People”

In my opinion I think heroes are ordinary people or some heroes are not ordinary

people like Jacinda Ardern.

Jacinda Ardern is our New Zealand prime minister, she has a husband and a baby.

Also she can still be a perfect prime minister. Jacinda Ardern did her best to keep

us safe during the Lockdown. She banned guns so there is less violence.

However,

Jacinda Ardern is not a hero, she is just doing her job and Jacinda

Ardern is getting paid for what she does.

Kate Sheppard is my New Zealand hero because Kate Sheppard is

recognised as the leader of the fight to win the right for New Zealand women to vote.

She was the first self-governing nation in the world to grant the vote to all women over 21.

Everyone has their own personal hero. My personal heroes are my parents because

they work so hard to provide us food and they are always looking after us. Who is your personal hero?

Thank you for listening to my Speech!

Have a wonderful day

Why Is It Important To Be Caring?

Why Is It Important To Be Caring?
Caring for Children With Special Needs
Caring is something that shows kindness
and compassion to our family and friends.
Caring is also like helping someone when they
need help and asking to do anything to help them.

Some people think that caring is not that important to
everyone but people that show compassion to everyone
around them, they are caring. Caring is everywhere around
the world. Caring is important because it makes people feel
welcome
and glad.

Caring is not just about talking nicely, helping people, it
is about making people happy and not feel left out. Caring
is also about sharing too. You could share your food to your
friends if they don’t have lunch or you can share anything to
your friends and family. Caring puts some distance between
ourselves and the objects of our care.

Caring is very important because it shows us that you are very
caring and responsible. Caring should be the most important
rule in the world.

Being caring is important to everyone else.
